CHOIR SINGER CHANGES TUNE FOR 'TEXAS' ROLE.(Preview)

Cheryl Glenn's minister is a man who supports his parishioner's community activities. He's being put to the test this weekend.

Glenn is the choir director of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Albany, but tonight she makes her stage debut as the maid-confidante of Mona, the proprietor of the Chicken Ranch, known more affectionately as "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas."

The musical, done as a movie with Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton, deals with the law moving in on a time-honored establishment where men will be men with women who are there to convince them of their manhood.
