Fed: Skase doctor offer fails to move government

CANBERRA, Jan 16 AAP - A doctor's offer today to prove with medical records that fugitive
businessman Christopher Skase has only months to live has left the Australian government
cold.
But if the former media company boss really is terminally ill, he may never face court
even if he is returned to Australia.
The government would rely only on independent medical advice in deciding matters related
to the prosecution of Mr Skase, Justice Minister Amanda Vanstone said.
She challenged Mr Skase, wanted on 32 fraud …
